The most important lesson I learned with eBay selling is that the amount of money you can make on eBay, depends heavily on researching and finding the right items to sell on eBay.

In the past few years, eBay has changed dramatically, so did selling on eBay! But, eBay still is a great option, you can still sell on eBay and make money. Thousands of people are still making a great income selling things on eBay. You can sell anything from electronics to reports about making money online and anything in between. Getting started on eBay is fairly simple and easy. All you need to do is find out what products or services are on demand, and buy or create those products or services for a low price and sell them on eBay for a profit.

Sell your unwanted things on eBay
Everyone has things to sell on eBay! Most people start making money on eBay by gathering their unused items and selling them on eBay. All of us have these kinds of items laying around the house, garage or in the attic. A lot of those items are not going to be used any way and probably will be thrown away any way. So, why not sell them on eBay and make a little extra money no matter how small.

Offer your services on eBay
You don’t necessarily have to be an experienced web designer or a fortune teller to make money on eBay. Look deeper, there must be something, a talent, or some kind of knowledge that you possess that many people might be willing to pay you for. A simple example would be offering people who have a lot of stuff to sell on eBay, but don’t have the time to do it themselves, or don’t know how to do it, to sell their stuff on eBay for a commission. These people could be your friends, family, neighbors or anyone else for that matter.

Buy from wholesalers and sell for a profit
There are whole seller in almost any category you can imagine. You can buy a product that usually costs $10, for $2 if you buy in bulk. The most important thing to remember is to know what to sell on eBay. Choose a product that is hot and find a wholesaler. Buy in bulk for cheap and turn around and sell them on eBay for a profit.

Most beginners who are trying to learn how to make money on eBay, make a big mistake by jumping into this method without prior research. Make sure you do your research before spending money buying a truck load of items!

Drop shipping is probably one of the easiest yet most controversial ways of making money by selling stuff on eBay. You don’t have to deal with anything like handling, shipping, processing, returns and etc. You simply list the items on eBay and drive potential buyers to your listing When they buy a product, you get your commission. If you already know how to make money on craigslist, then this method is going to be easy for you. Take advantage of the “want it now” feature on eBay to find out what items are hot and on demand. Then go to a classified site like craigslist and look for those items. Many times you can buy those items for very cheap. And sometimes you may even get lucky and get those items for free on craiglists “FREE” section. Craigslist can be a gold mine if you know what you are looking for.

Making money on eBay is still one of the best ways to make money online. There might be other ways to make money on eBay as well, but, most of them will come down to the above mentioned methods, and all of above methods basically come down to supply and demand. Luckily, you don’t have to come up with any ideas on your own. Here is a straight forward step by step method that you can use to make money on youtube.

This method is all about going local, though when you master this method you can take it to the next level and go national as well. But if you wanna get your share of youtube money quickly, focus on your local area. Usually ranking locally for a keyword is much easier, and that is why this method works best with local businesses. We will use YouTube videos to rank well for the keyword since YouTube videos are hot and rank easily for their keywords. Here is what you need to do to make money with youtube:

Find a local Business
The first step of making money with youtube is to find a local business. It doesn’t matter what kind of business, it could be a restaurant, car repair shop, hair salon, bar, thrift store or whatever. But, this method works best with businesses that can be best presented visually. For this guide lets assume you choose a local bar.

Make a video of the business
Go to the bar owner and tell him or her that you would make a free advertising video for the bar and upload it on YouTube, which will help him gain more business, IF he lets you shoot a short video of his bar. Most local businesses will have no problem with that. In fact they will be happy to let you advertise their business for free.

Take your camcorder and shoot a short video of the bar and what its all about. Be creative, you want to make it as interesting as possible. Maybe ask the owner about any special event they may have, like a karaoke night or free beer for ladies night or what have you and plan to shoot your video that night to capture how people are having fun and are happy and blah blah blah. Remember, you want to make people want to come to this place.

But what if you don’t have a camcorder or cant shoot a video for some reason? No worries, you can simply take a few photographs of the bar and the crowd. Capture what you can about this place in a few pictures. Keep it simple and short.

Make a slide show
Use a free tool like Animoto to turn your photos into a professional video slide show. You can also use this tool to enhance your video (if you were able to shoot video) and make it more professional. you can add music, headlines and etc. This free tool lets you crate professional looking slide shows easily. You don’t have to be a geek to work with this thing.

Important: Don’t forget to place your name, website, phone number or any other info in the beginning and at the end of the video, This is how people can find you if they want a similar video made for their business. This is how you will be making your money!

Upload your video to YouTube

As I said, ranking locally is pretty easy. So, your video with good keywords and description will likely rank high for its keywords. But, to be on the safe side, you can build a few backlinks to the video to help it rank higher. All you have to do is write a few articles related to bars and include a link pointing back to your video (of course with your keyword as anchor text) and submit to a few top article directories. You can also upload your video to other video sites as well.

Competitors keep an eye on each other
This is all based on one very important fact, competitors always keep an eye on each other. So, pretty soon your video will be seen by other local bars. And as any sane competitor would want to do, they would want to be the one on that video. That’s where your business info in the beginning and at the end of your video comes to play.

You have got clients
Prepare to receive calls from local bars wanting to pay you to make a video for them to help them promote their business. It really is that simple. Don’t make it complicated for yourself, Just do it. This is a method I used and still use myself. I work as a flooring installer offline and have my own business.
